Opzaco Worker Authentication SMS— a transactional messaging program operated by Opzaco for property managers (“customers”) and the workers and supervisors they invite to the platform.
Opzaco uses a manager-mediated opt-in flow. Workers do not text a keyword to subscribe. Instead:
Workers can review this page at any time at https://opzaco.com/sms-terms.
Below is a faithful, non-interactive preview of the form a manager fills in to invite a worker. The checkbox is required — the manager cannot submit the invite without attesting that the worker has given permission. The attestation, manager identity, and timestamp are recorded server-side as the consent record.
The exact string presented to the manager next to the required consent checkbox, reproduced here for carrier and auditor review:
“I confirm this worker has given me permission to enter their phone number and to receive authentication SMS from Opzaco (a one-time welcome link plus sign-in passcodes). Program details: opzaco.com/sms-terms.”
Opzaco does not send marketing, promotional, or recurring informational SMS. All messages are strictly transactional and authentication-related.
Message frequency varies based on how often the worker signs in. Typical activity: one welcome message per invitation, plus a one-time passcode each time the worker initiates a sign-in (usually a few times per week).
Reply STOP to any Opzaco SMS to immediately opt out of all further messages. Workers can also ask their manager to remove their account, which deletes the account and stops all further messages.
Reply HELP to any Opzaco SMS for assistance, or email hello@opzaco.com.
Message and data rates may apply. Opzaco does not charge for SMS.
Phone numbers are used only to deliver the messages described above. We do not share, sell, or use phone numbers for marketing. Full details: Privacy Policy · Terms of Service.
Opzaco SMS is delivered via Twilio over US carriers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and tier-2/3 carriers). Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
